I got my recall letter today. I just wonder how long we have to get it done? The Razore is in winter storage and I sure as hell dont want to drive on the snow or salted streets. Any one have any ideals?

Hmmmmmmm good question. I have the same situation (no letter yet though). You know -- I'd stop by (or call) the dealer and see what could be arranged.

Brought Sunni in Monday (4/14) and they kept her overnight (I dropped off after 4pm and would pick up same the next day) They said teh pocedure takes about 2 hours and the rear end after draining, opening and cleaning is inspected by two techs and the decision is made on condition (She was fine) then the "module" is changed and new lube is added ... No problems
Can't say I fely any difference other than MAYBE less whine at speed (I was developing a very slight whine -- seems to be gone or less now)

I took mine in on the 14th as well. But my car was not fine! All the bearings in the differential were destroyed. The fluid had leaked out causing the pinion bearing to go bad. The material from that bearing got into all the other bearings and pretty much ruined the differential. I was driving my car on borrowed time!!! Wow!! All is fixed now, other than I have to break the car in on the way to Ohio next week!
